Same great services, different name.

FORT WORTH, TX (September 19, 2019) – Since 1998, the Alliance Opportunity Center has played a critical role in helping AllianceTexas companies meet their workforce needs by offering a wide range of job recruitment and placement services that connect businesses with qualified employees. In an effort to continue growing our support of the workforce needs in the Alliance area, we will be undergoing a simple name change to make our center more recognizable to businesses that would benefit from our services. The Alliance Opportunity Center will now be Alliance Workforce Center – same great services, different name.

They did it! We celebrate the Class of 2019 High School Equivalency Graduates

FORT WORTH, TX (June 6, 2019) – The Tarrant County Adult Education & Literacy Consortium (TCAELC) celebrated the Class of 2019 on Tuesday, June 4, 2019 at Wilkerson-Greines Athletic Center. This year we hosted over 170 graduates and their families. In addition to celebrating their High School Equivalency Graduation 9 students were recognized and inducted into the National Adult Education Honors Society. This distinction was given to students who had demonstrated excellent attendance, classroom participation, and self-reliance. Students were nominated by their Instructors through a nomination process following membership standards.

Workforce Solutions selected as 2019 Meritorious Service Award Winner

FORT WORTH, TX (January 31, 2019) – The Texas Council on Family Relations (TxCFR) selected Workforce Solutions for Tarrant County as the recipient of the 2019 Meritorious Service Award, for our work with a community-wide fatherhood initiative in Tarrant County. The Fatherhood Coalition of Tarrant County promotes responsible fatherhood and strengthens the role of fathers in the lives of children.

Flex-N-Gate Honored at Texas Workforce Conference

Fort Worth, Texas (December 6, 2018)– Flex-N-Gate Texas LLC (Flex-N-Gate) received the Employer Award of Excellence for the Workforce Solutions for Tarrant County area at the Texas Workforce Commission’s (TWC) 22nd Annual Texas Workforce Conference held Nov. 28–30 in Houston. The award honors private sector employers that are actively involved with Texas Workforce Solutions and have made a positive impact on employers, workers and the community.

Workforce Solutions to host 7th Annual Hiring Red, White & You! Job Fair with over 26,000 job openings.

Arlington, TX (October 25, 2018) – Over 150 local employers with 26,000 open positions are set to attend the 7th Annual Hiring Red, White and You! Job Fair on November 8 at the Ballpark in Arlington. Texas Rangers, The Cordish Companies and Workforce Solutions for Tarrant County Announce Hiring to Begin for Texas Live! in Arlington, TX. 

Arlington, TX (April 3, 2018) – The Texas Rangers, The Cordish Companies and Workforce Solutions for Tarrant County are excited to come together to begin hiring initiatives for Texas Live!, one of the largest and most exciting sports-anchored developments currently under construction in the Arlington Entertainment District. Scheduled to open late summer/early fall of this year, Texas Live! will house 200,000 square feet of best-in-class dining and entertainment space and a 5,000-capacity outdoor event pavilion. The project is bringing over 3,000 new jobs to the City of Arlington and Tarrant County, including 2,000 construction jobs and 1,025 permanent jobs. Additionally, the world-class project will debut the Live! by Loews – Arlington hotel, inclusive of a 35,000 square foot Grand Event Center, in 2019. The hotel will add an additional 220 permanent jobs to the region upon opening.
