Workforce Solutions Workforce Centers provide services to ALL job seekers, but specialized accommodations and services are available to people with disabilities, if you ask
- Workforce Solutions provides needed accommodations and assistance to people with disabilities in their search for employment.
- When you register for employment services at a Workforce Center, simply ask your Career Consultant or the receptionist to put you in contact with a DARS Representative.
- The DARS Representative will arrange necessary accommodations to provide persons with disabilities access to programs or services.

A person with a disability as defined under the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) has the right to access all services, programs and activities provided at the Workforce Centers.
Asking for HELP
If you have a disability and you require special service or accommodation YOU MUST LET US KNOW. This is your choice and your right. Disclosing the nature of your disability can have real benefits. By doing so, Workforce Solutions staff can provide the accommodations and assistance you are entitled to receive.
Making a referral
Making a referral is easy. JUST ASK any staff to put you in touch with a DARS Representative. DARS Representatives can help you in many ways to connect with other community resources or to access services within the Workforce Centers.
Disability Employment Services Program Navigator:
Provides Workforce Center customers who have disabilities with employment related services including information, referral, job search assistance, job readiness training, and WIOA intensive and training services.
Learning Disability Navigator:
Provides One Stop Center customers who have learning differences or issues with resources, information on accommodations, screening, and /or diagnostic testing.
TANF Disability Navigator:
Assistance to decrease or eliminate barriers for TANF recipients who have disabilities or are caregivers to children or other family members with disabilities.

Each year, Workforce Solutions for Tarrant County funds training for job seekers who need to fully develop existing skills or create new skills.
Disability Services
Disability Employment Navigators provide WIA intensive services including job search assistance and readiness training within any of our One Stop Centers.
Unemployment Insurance
The Texas Workforce Commission handles all Unemployment Insurance (UI) claims. Apply for benefits online or Tarrant County residents can call 817-420-1600.
