Adult Education and Literacy is important to us here in Tarrant County. We believe it’s never too late to get an education and it is our mission to help you succeed. Whether you need a refresher in math/reading/writing, need to get your High School Equivalency, or just need to improve your English skills, we can help. Workforce Solutions’ Child Care program provides services needed by low-income families in order to enter and remain in the workforce. Parents who need child care to seek work, attend training or education, are eligible. The boards may also target funds for children of teen parents and for children with disabilities. Child care funds are also used to improve child care quality, and to increase the availability of early childhood development programs and before-school and after-school programs.
