SkillUp® Tarrant County is helping us build a workforce ecosystem that supports positive economic development through services for job seekers and employers. This is a FREE resource available to all residents in Tarrant County. Job seekers can explore career pathways, view local job postings, register for free online learning, and receive workforce services. SkillUp Tarrant County lets job seekers know what skills employers are looking for and offers 5,000 e-learning courses and 130 Industry Credential tracks related to those skills. Meanwhile, employers can use SkillUp® to create free online new hire training, as an affordable way to upskill their current workforce, and as an assessment and hiring tool.

Request a Metrix Learning Portal

Is your organization interested in having your own SkillUp/Metrix Learning portal? Fill out the form and our Employer Services team will connect you with our Metrix portal admins. Metrix provides recurring training sessions for organization administrators to help you get the most out of the system. Once we get your accounts created, we will send you information on the training sessions.

Below are some commonly asked questions and answers about the SkillUp Tarrant County Metrix Learning Portal.

Once your company has been added to our Metrix Learning Portal, your employees can visit SkillUp / Metrix Self Directed Program – Register for Access (metrixlearning.com). They will need to fill in all required fields on the registration form. In the “referred by” field they will need to select your organization’s name. Once the form is filled in, they will click “register”. They will be added to your account and will have access to all of the trainings available in the system.
