Workforce Solutions and The Center for Transforming Lives is proud to bring you a in-person financial literacy workshop series. The workshops will be held on the 4th Tuesday of each month at the Central Workforce Center, registration is required (see below) and seating is limited.

Asset Builders Clinic: During these financial literacy workshops, participants will be empowered with education and resources geared to increase your knowledge, understanding, and application of financial tools for financial success.

Our goal is to provide a series of workshops that teach the basic of money management including Banking 101, Budget Tips and Tidbits, Savings, and Credit Smart. This series of workshops will last four months and then we will start the workshop series over in month five.

Third workshop in the series: Savings

Looking to come out of debt? Ready to finally go on that vacation? Need to build that emergency fund? Learning how to save is one part discipline + one part mindset. In this interactive workshop, you will learn:

• Popular saving methods and techniques
• Identify a savings purpose for you
• Developing a savings mindset
• Discuss tools and resources available to help you actually put that money away
