MAPS is a program comprised of a series of sessions focused on professional development opportunities through a variety of career planning, job seeking, self-evaluation assessments and soft skills.
This workshop is offered in-person and NO registration is required. We offer workshops both Virtually and In-Person. Please visit our Events Calendar for other sessions we are offer.
Participants learn the difference between passive, aggressive, and assertiveness in communication. They also explore various types of verbal and nonverbal communication. Active listening is also explored and integrated into the job search, interviewing, and the job entry process. Maintaining positive job success even after a candidate is hired is emphasized as effective communication is needed to maintain success once hired.
